I have a 04 Sebring that we got from a guy who couldn’t get it to start. Not sure what he changed or did. Car has no bus and security light on solid. I’ve check wiring and made sure computer is programmed for this vin. From what I can find the ecm that’s in it doesn’t belong to this car. It’s 04745860 The part number comes up as 00-02 cars or van but not for a Sebring. Looking on ecm builder sites the part number for this year is different than what I got. I want to order a new one and try but the sites want you to match the part number before buying but again I don’t see this one being for this car. Does anyone know where I could find any info about the part numbers that should be in this thing or just risk it with a new one? The no bus can be any wiring but I have a strong hunch the computer doesn’t belong.
