1997 jx front motor mount replace help.
So, how do i take out the front motor mount in my 1997 sebring convertible v6. The motor mount is broken. I know the front and back motor mounts are connected, but I don't know how which bolts take it off.

place a block of wood on a floor jack, and lift it to the bottom of your oil pan, to where it just comes into contact, you don't want to cave in the pan. Then unbolt the front motor mount, three bolts on the bottom frame rail. Might be two, been a while since I replaced mine. It's a bit of a pain to get the bracket unbolted from the front of the motor, a bit of patients and a bit of twisting this way and that will get it out. But it is a pain. There isn't much on these cars that isn't, but thier fun.

I looked back at your post, sorry, I was thinking the front motor mount on the front of the motor. Not the motor mounts bolting the sides of the motor to the cradle, that big metal bar is part of the motor mount. it has to be disconnected at both ends.
the radiator support has to be unbolted to get the transveres bar out. Which is actually has the front motor mount pressed into it. When I replaced mine I got an estimate from the dealer for $675, I did it in a day, for $50. I replaced both from and rear mounts, rear was ok, I just didn't want to go through that again.
