Default 2000 JXI Conv. electrical problem question

For first time am having off and on electrical problem. Twice now I have restarted the car after driving a bit and the dash board gauges don't come on, along with the A/C, and power to convertible roof. After a few minutes it will come on, or when I stop and restart the car. It appears to be something that is going to be a constant hit and miss problem now.

Can anyone tell me specifically what is needed? I live on $1000 a month disability and can't afford to have one of those nightmarish dealer experiences where they keep guessing at what to replace as the costs keep going up.

I would appreciate it if someone knows the exact fix for this problem, which I hear is typical of this year and model.
