Default Lost break lights on 2000 JXI Conv.

Good evening,

I lost all break lights on our 2000 Chrysler Sebring JXI Conv. Only one of the bulbs were blown. I have checked the fuses (I think, none are marked "break lights") and they are all good. Any suggestions?

1. Would the center break light not functioning cause the other 2 to stop working?

2. How do you replace the center break light bulb?

3. Is this a common problem?

Thanks!

Woody

If all the brake lights are out at the same time, you should suspect the switch at the brake pedal. The Haynes manual has a good discussion on how to troubleshoot the brake light switch. It also covers a ton of other things and is definitely worth the price.
