The DRB III is a factory scan tool. Its the only tool that i know of where you can go in and reconfigure the computers. You can disconnect the battery for an extended period of time but this wont tell the computer much other than it needs to relearn some basic things ie fuel consumption. I suggest checking for any kind of trouble codes and going from there.
