Default 2001 sebring 2.7 oil recommendations

I have an 01 sebring with the 2.7. My next oil change is in about 1000 miles at 121,000. Right now I'm using valvoline conventional high mileage and want to know if I should switch to synthetic or change brands. If synthetic what brand and regular or high mileage? Any recommendations are welcome. Please and thanks.

I am using Valvoline from approved dealer (hope they sell the real product, not only the sticker). Also tried Total and Carlube - both are quite good. Select according to user manual or climate zone. For my 3L V6 if I remember correctly it was 5W40 and I prefer Valvoline brand and I think its common that 5W40 will be fully synthetic and 10W40 will be semi synthetic. Now if the engine is old and worn out you might choose 10W40 as it is denser and less leaking via old gaskets (but that also depends on climate zone so its not a rule). So, as conclusion - brands 1. Valvoline, 2. Total, 3. Carlube; semi or fully synthetic according to user manual recommendations for your climate zone.
