2001 Sebring Sedan Fuel Pump Location
OK, I'm sure this is a common questions, but I couldn't find any answer when I searched. I have read that some Sebring fuel pumps are located under the back seat, but there is nothing under my back seat. Do you know where my pump is and would I be able to replace it myself? I have the Haynes Chrysler Sebring repair manual and I've done everything from oil change to replacing my valve cover gasket and spark plugs. The book made changing my fuel pump sound fairly easy, I just can't find it.
It's in the fuel tank, and to get to it you need to drop the tank. After that, it's easy.
The pump access is under the back seat in the coupes, not the sedan. You should be aware that the coupe is a totally different car, built by Mitsubishi. When ordering parts, be sure to specify sedan. The coupe and sedan have almost no parts in common.
