Default 2002 LXi Coupe

My brother is interested in buying a 2002 LXi Automatic Coupe.

1.
The dealer's website says that the car is a 3.0L.
After researching it seems like on Manulas got the 3L and Autos got the 2.4/7 L.
Does the dealer have an error, or I am working with incorrect information?

2.
Comments on this model?

3.
Reasonable asking price?
56,000 Miles.
They had it at $11k and have dropped it to $10k. It comes with a lot of goodies (moon roof, chrome rims, etc...)
After searching Edmunds, I am coming up with around $8.5-$9.

Default RE: 2002 LXi Coupe

the 2001-2002 coupes do have a 3.0L. My 01 Sebring LX is a 3.0L engine. Honestly, if it really is a 2.7L I wouldnt get it, they have tons of problems with the 2.7s but the 3.0s run very well. If you do decide to get it, 11K isnt bad but I'd still try to talk them down on the price anyway. Other than that it doesn't sound too bad.

P.S. - if your trying to use this car as a prject car, I would be careful, there isnt alot of stuff you can put on this model, tons of custom **** = mad bills
