Default 2003 Sebring Front End Thunks

2003 Sebring sedan; 2.7 engine; automatic; 135K miles...I've had squeaks and creaks and thunks from my front end and have replaced the following on both sides: Strut towers; upper and lower control arms; stabilizer bar links; stabilizer bar bushings. That solved many noise and wear problems but I still have a thunk when braking (usually at slow speeds) and sometimes when accelerating from a stop. Also intermittently when turning. What's making that thunk?? Thanks for any input.

Could be tie rod ends, inner or outer. Get the car up on a hoist or jackstands and see if you can reproduce the sound either by arm-wrestling the tire or actually applying power and braking. You might need an assistant to help with the observations.

Also check your motor mounts.

Possible CV Joint issue? I had this problem on a older Chevy Cavalier.
