2004 2.4L crankshaft/cam position sensors
My roommates's car suddenly had a no-start condition. She has a 2004 Sebring 4D Sedan with a 2.4L DOHC X VIN EDZ engine. She had DTC indicating crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor trouble.
Camshaft position sensor was easy enough, but the crankshaft position sensor seems to be a pain. I think I've finally located it wedged between the starter and the bumper-to-crossmember bracket. The wires are the right colors and the back of the connector appears to be correct, although I can't see the sensor itself.
Does anyone have directions on how to removed the sensor? It appears I'll have to remove the starter to access the sensor and its connector.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

That's the next thing I'll check.
I finally got to the cam position sensor after disconnecting the starter. I replaced the sensor but it's still throwing the same code.
She said her engine made some sort of weird noise, but she can't describe either the noise or from what part of the engine it came from. It could quite possibly be her timing belt.
That means it's time to take it to a shop.
Thank you.
