Ok ive recently replaced a battery in an 04 sebring and in the process the splash guard for the battery was destroyed. Ive looked everywhere for a new one but all im finding are inner fender liners.. Can someone lead me in the right direction as where to find a battery splash guard or even the part number for it?

I found one on eBay once. A guy was parting out a car and had advertised other parts but was happy to sell me the battery cover. Note that the part for the convertible is close but not exactly the same as the sedan.

 

hey i got a 98 sebring convertable with the 2.5 v6 all lights work when you turn the key on the radio lights will flash. you can here everything coming on under the hood but the car will not turn over. ive checked all the fuses and replaced the key lock assembly. still nothing the motor will turn by hand, does anybody have any ideas.

 

Next time, start a new thread. Your post has nothing to do with a battery splash guard.

Check all the connections from the battery to the starter motor carefully for corrosion. If necessary, disconnect each one, clean it up and put it back together. Get a voltmeter and make sure you have voltage at the starter. If not, work your way back and find out where it has failed to get through. Check the starter relay.
