Default 2005 2.7 DOHC Sebring

Hey I have a 2005 Sebring 2.7L DOHC, this morning on my way to work I saw it was idling rough, stalled at a red light and lurching forward while sitting at stop signs and red lights. What might this be and what’s the easiest way on fixing this, I’m reading it may be a bad crankshaft position sensor. Thanks!

Check engine light on? It's there for a reason and if so, codes will be stored in the ECM and can be gotten with a scanner..Autozone can do that for you for FREE. This will give you a good starting point of what system is acting up.
