Default 2008 Sebring Headlamp Removal

Hey guys, I'm new here. I've been what feels like around the world trying to find really any information on how to work on my car, even the auto shops don't have manuals available here. I've got 2 brand new headlight assemblies I'm trying to put in and cannot for the life of me figure out this process without taking things apart blindly. It looks like my worst fear is true, that I will have to remove the front bumper cover. Anyone who has done this before probably has an easy routine for this kind of thing and would love if you'd share some tips!

Thanks!

Check your owners manual. It should have instructions for replacing the headlight bulbs which usually involves removing the headlights themselves. You can download a copy from chrysler.com.

On my (older version) Chrysler, it's not necessary to remove the bumper cover but it is necessary to remove some of the fasteners securing the cover in the vicinity of the headlights and then the cover can be flexed out of the way. Push-pin fasteners are removed easily by prying up the center portion and then pulling out the fastener. Once you've done one you will see how they work. A set of plastic trim tools can make the job easier.

You might want to see if you can order a Haynes or Chilton's shop manual on line. There are services that will allow you to subscribe to refer to the manual for a limited time.

Thanks for the reply? I got some help from a friend at work. After easily removing the grille and some bolts under the wheel well, the bumper cover was fairly easy to remove. Got the new lamps in and gave her a wash and she's looking good! https://i.imgur.com/F5YeU30.jpg

I am however having some issues with adjustment. I was able to adjust the lights slightly downward, but they won't go near far enough down for my high beams to be on the road. They point up at the trees while low beams point far out on the road.

Make sure the bulb is seated properly in the socket. Make sure the lamp is also properly seated all around.
