I was having issues with the top not going down on occasion. I changed out the motor and filled up the cylinder with hydraulic fluid. Was working fine until it wasn't. Now, I hear the motor running but the top doesn't even try to unlock. What else could it be?

Where does the top operation fail? The order of operation is
- windows drop
- decklid opens/raises
- tonneau extends
- header latches release
- top open and retracts into trunk
- decklid closes

Are there any messages in the EVIC referencing the top operation?

Getting further into diagnosing may require pulling the diagnostic trouble codes from the ptcm (power top control module).
