something broke in the door release mechanism and i cant open the passenger front door. Ive got the inner door panel pulled out as much as i can with the door close and i can move the outer door handle and see the rod move but i cant figure out how to unlatch the door so i can work on it. It looks like the inner and outer door handle cable/rod goes into a white plastic cover behind an access panel. Anybody have a diagram or ideas on how to get this door open. Im out of ideas. Please help
