Default 2011 200 S Antenna base replacement

What is the repair procedure to replace a broken antenna and base on a 2011 Chrysler 200 S?

Is this a roof mounted "shark fin" type? If so the headliner has to be dropped down and there is a 10 mm nut that secures the base to the roof.

Thanks REBEL59 It is a "shark fin" type. I see two plastic round clips holding up the headliner across the back and the third brake light. Do I just remove those and drop it down or does the side columns need to be removed also?

I have not done the task, if side trims cover the edges of the headliner then yes they need to be removed. From what I learned from another Forum of same shred platform car, it is a rather tight working job to drop the headliner, but with patience it can be done as you don't want to harm that headliner. Perhaps search Youtube for a video of antenna replacement, Dodge Avengers are the same.

Thanks...I'll take a look at it this weekend and let you know how it works out.
