Angry having issues with rpm needle

Is there anyway to reset the tachometer on a 98 sebring? No idea, but some how the needle on my tach ended up going on the other side of the pin. It still moves when I rev it up, but idle sits about (negative)-1000rpm I know doesn't make much sense, but how can I get the needle on the other side of the stopper pin?

You'll have to take it apart. May or may not work when you put it back together.

Nice post for a refresher, but the thread is over 7 years old!

Seems to be the only place on the Internet with an instruction on how to do it.
