cruise kicked out at about 70mph and the abs light flashed along with the skid control light and brake warning lamp...put the cruise back on and after 30 seconds it kicks out again..same lights flash on the dash.this time the skid control light stays on. I stopped the car and checked the only thing I could; the brake fluid level. I restarted the car and all lights were out and it ran fine. I tried cruise again and the cruise lit up on the dash but i could not set the speed. any ideas or solutions.

 

Take it somewhere where they have a very sophisticated code reader capable of reading codes related to ABS and traction control. The usual parts store type code reader may not be capable of that. A Chrysler dealer or high end shop should be equipped with a code reader capable of drilling down to find the error codes that are related to those lights flashing. There's no point in guessing from here what those codes might be. Once they have read the codes they can decide what the fix is.

Everything is easy with the right tools. took it to my mechanic today. he read the codes and replaced the brake light switch. total cost $55.00
