p1695 indicates a loss of communication between Body controller and engine controller.....
If you are having battery problems...it is likely caused by low voltage in the system disrupting communication along the Buss.....
I wouldnt do ANYTHING about that code...Until the Battery and/or charging system issues have been rectified.
