hi im lookin for the name or where to buy it from its the blk pastic part that the hose from the radiator and the engine run thru im guessin its blk and plastic some call it gooseneck other water outer valve and theromat gasket i really need some help on what exactly it is called for my 2001 chrysler sebring i think it has something to do with the car runninghot if its crack or anything from the looks of it i see jb on it as if the machanic was tryin to fix it it also have a sensor in it. i really need some help please it woulda great help or even a pic or where to buy it from or both. thanks alot later.

 

Which engine are we talking about here? On the 4 cylinder, the thermostat housing is on the top of the engine and has a large hose running to the radiator.
On the 2.7 L v-6, the thing on the top of the engine with the hose leading to the radiator is the outlet assembly. The thermostat in this engine is underneath, where the coolant comes in.
Any good parts man should be able to find you the right part if you give him enough good information about what you want. The other approach is to pull it off and bring it in to the parts counter.
