Blower motor
Hello Everyone again,
My blower switch will not work on the lowest speed or the number one on the switch. Is the trouble in the switch or in a relay some were in the car. Any help at all needed.
Thanks

RE: Blower motor
It's probably the Heater / Ballast resistor. This resistor set controls the various blower speeds by varying the power allowed to the motor. It's mounted in the passenger's foot duct area. Essentially take out the two screws that hold the trim under the glovebox, pull the trim downward and towards you at the end closest to the door. This will let it slip off the connection at the center console.
Once this is out of the way, you'll see a plug with a few wires in it next to a cone shaped object as you look up from underneath the dash. The cone is the bottom of the blower motor. The plug is what you are after. Remove the two screws and gently pull the ballast resistor out of the air duct. Unplug it, plug the new one in and reverse the steps to close it back up. All you need is a screwdriver (phillips) and a nut driver or socket/wrench to fit the screws.
