Default car audio wiring routes

I am about to drop a new head unit and some amplifiers in the 01 sebring I have. I need to know how best to route the speaker wire to the amplifier which will probably be in the trunk and will require that all 4 speakers are connected to it. Anybody know a few good spots? I am going to have rca's running back there as well as a power cable from the battery.

Default nobody?

Has nobody ever tried to run 4 gauge cable to the trunk before? What about a high output alternator in the car? ANybody tried that? Or upgrading the ground and positive wire size on the alternator?
