Default clockspring ID?

I have mine out, and see its shot. I can only find new ones that have five pigtails, presumably due to steering wheel radio controls.

I do NOT have the radio controls, only three pigtails. It seems like all the pics I have googled have five pigtails... Is there a place I can find the proper oem number and then crossreference to Dorman, or some other solution?

I cant believe I am the only one whose cs with three pt has gone kerzoink...

Thanks!

try chryslerparts.net or Rock Auto. It will take some digging to find the part on Rock Auto's site, it's listed in the Body interior section. You can make a specific inquiry regading you problem on those sites and might even get a specific reply. You didn't specify any details on your vehicle (model, year, trim level, etc,) When you communicate with somebody at those sites, give them all the detail you can come up with.

I should have include the m/m/y, yes...

I have used rock before, good company... I can only find the pic of the five pig. It says "w/o radio" but until I get confirmation...

I popped my current clockspring open, and man what a mess. busted wires all over the place, and wadded up.

This came back from Rock... I sent it late Saturday night, and the reply came by Sunday Morning... Thats pretty cool that it was answered so quickly, and over the weekend...

The Dorman part # 525107 is specifically designed to fit the 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible. It is not compatible with the 2 door coupe. Unfortunately we do not currently carry the Air Bag Clockspring for the 2 door coupe at this time. Our online catalog will show every part we have for your vehicle, so if you look up your car in our catalog, and don't see the part there, it means we unfortunately don't carry it. Car club members can be a great source for leads on hard-to-find parts. Several clubs are listed on our website--follow the "Owner Clubs and other Links" link on our home page. If you can't find a club for your vehicle there, try an internet search for 'Chrysler collector club' -- and if you find a great club, tell us so we can add it to our links page!

You didn't mention that yours was a coupe. The coupe was built by Mitsubishi. There are VERY FEW common parts with the sedan and convertible, which were built by Chrysler. The Dodge Stealth coupe and Mitsubishi Eclipse coupe are essentially the same vehicle. Try searching for the part using those vehicles. Try clubs on the web for those vehicles too.

Interesting...

I was digging in google yesterday, trying to find an oem part number. Stumbled across a mitsu #, so what you tell me says it might be fruitful...

And I STILL forgot to mention... the coupe. dang. I am not a forum newb, I should know better....

Thanks again.
