Default code P0401 recurrent

Hi, Ive got a Chrysler Sebring 1997 2.5 convertible, it runs rough @ times and the CEL lamp is on. we read the codes and it came out with P0401 insufficient EGR flow. We replaced the EGR and solenoid wit a dealer part but the problem cotinues the same. Same code recurs.

It's possible that the tubing has become clogged. You may need to make sure all the tubing is clear as well as the ports that the tubing attaches to on the engine and exhaust. Also check the vacuum tubing for leaks and breaks. It does become brittle after a while.
