Default Convertible Question...

Hey everyone, I'm new here, and I have a question about a car I just got (it's a rental, so no manual or anything like that). It's a 2008 Sebring Convertible, and when I try to drop the top, the DIC gives me a reading that says "CAr90 SHIELd SET" or some ordered variance of that message. I was curious if anyone knew about this, or had seen it before. I searched for the terms but didn't come up with anything in the forum. Could this be a block the rental company put on the convertible function, or is there something that needs to be done before hitting the button (my other roadster doesn't need any prep, but, like I said...no manual). I appreciate any help you could offer. Thanks!

-E.M.

Wow, can't thank you enough...now the pictorial instructions actually make sense. Never would have thought to move that panel. I really appreciate the quick response.

Go to the Chrysler website http://www.chrysler.com/en/owners/index.html, andlook around and you can download an owners manual, save the file, and just look stuff up on the computer when ever you need something, that's what I do. Good Luck with the new car
