The dash lights sometimes flicker in the 01 sebring.. its got around 75-80k miles now. Its maintained in tip top shape I just want to know what causes this problem. I often hear about body control modules and a multi-function switch being the culprit. Its done this for a good while. Any ideas?

 

Mine will do that if I have the dimmer switch turned odwn so that the dash are not at full bright. If I bright dim quickly a couple of time it corrects the problem.The contacts on the rheostat may be dirty.
