I have a 2007 chrysler Sebring without steering wheel controls. the small display screen on the far left of my dash is blank. From what I see in online pictures, this should show direction (NESW) temperature, and date? Is there something wrong or did only some models come with this display enabled?

The dash back lighting does not work (I have the ELD 5 coming in in a week or two), would making this fix bring the display back?
