Hey, i have a 2007 base sedan with the 2.4 and a 4 speed automatic. it has the drum rear brakes. i know that the touring and limited models were available with rear discs, can they be converted? and if so, does anybody know how much is involved?

I would speculate that the lack of a response here has something to do with the absence of any people here who have tried to do this. Just guessing, but I would suspect you would need to replace the knuckle along with the hub and disc and rotors. You might also need to replace the parking brake cables. If yours is an ABS system, you might need to replace the module. If not, you might need to replace the proportioning valve.
If you want to be the pioneer on this, keep a diary and come back and report on your efforts. Keep your insurance current, just in case something goes wrong.
