Cool Engine Swap

Trying to do some basic research!
I own a 2004 Sebring convertible equipped with a 2.4L DOHC engine, I am interested in swaping it out for a 2.4L Turbo motor out of a PT Cruiser of the same year! Question 1 has anyone here accomplished this? Does the transmission bolt up? Motor mounts? ECU

Good luck with that. Transmission bolt pattern and motor mounts are likely to be the least of your problems. Getting an engine computer to work and an exhaust system that fits are going to be a lot of fun. Don't throw any of your old parts away, you may need them when you decide that this ain't gonna work.
Take lots of pictures and come back and tell us how it went. You are probably the first person in the world to try this.

What the hell, Amelia took a chance.
