I have a 2010 Sebring Convert. V6 2.7 just at 100k mi
These codes won't go away. I have changed all spark plugs, 2 coil packs & 1 igniter as it was "stuck". None of these fixes cleared the code. PLEASE SEE BELOW:
SO why is it a false code? Looks legit to me. P0175indicates that the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects too much fuel and not enough oxygen in the air fuel ratio (AFR). This code will set when the ECM can not compensate for the amount of air or fuel required to return the air fuel ratio back to the set parameters.
here are some possibilities
Dirty or faulty map sensor
Faulty oxygen sensor
Faulty air-fuel ratio Sensor
Leaky fuel injectors allowing too much fuel into the combustion cylinders
Worn spark plugs
Stuck fuel pressure regulator
Faulty coolant temperature sensor
Faulty coolant thermostat
and all wires and connectors to thoes items as well
