Gauge Cluster Question: 2004 Sebring Sedan
Ive been working on a 2004 Sebring Sedan in Jade Green with an automatic transmission and 130,000 miles. Picked up a 2004 Dodge Stratus RT cluster and was curious if its a direct swap with my Chrysler cluster or is the harness different? Some history on the car, I got it dirt cheap due to a sizable rust hole and a bad wheel bearing. Fixed both those issues for less than $200. I also installed a new battery and alternator for about $150 and I only paid $300 for the car. So total I paid $650 for a reliable, running vehicle for daily transportation. My insurance is only $70 a month with Esurance (owned by Allstate.)
Some thing I like about this car:
1. Parts are in-expensive
2. Fairly easy to work on (unless your doing timing belt)
3. Easy customization. Exhaust, lights, sound system, etc.
4. 2019 and the car still looks good/modern for its age.
5. Reliability of the 2.4L engine and the good highway gas mileage.
Some things im not so crazy about:
1. Battery placement
2. Not much room to work under the hood.
3. A way to lower the seat height for tall drivers.
