Default How to get the harmonic balancer/ crankshaft bolt off

I current have a 2004 sebrimg with the 2.7 v6. I have to get the water out but am currently stuck at the bolt holding the harmonic balancer on/ crankshaft bolt.

I cant tell if it's 2 separate bolts or just a single bolt. There is a 15mm nose bolt(it's oval shaped with 2 flat sides) sitting on top of a 15/16th castle bolt.

can I just put the 15/16th on with a cheater bar and bump the starter to get ot off. Or do I first need to break the 15mm bolt off the castle bolt.

Any help is appreciated as i have about 24hr to get it fixed before its towed off property to the junk yard.

Looking on the gaps of the castle it looks like there are tedth that would grip info the caslte bolt from the nose bolt.

its just the bolt in the middle some one has rounded the bolt its not suppose to oval. Might need to get an inpact socket on there and use an air gun to get it off.

127446, You are absolutely correct, bolt is rounded off, take a little extra work, but should come off.

Great pics, if other members on this forum would take the extra time to post pics, would be able to help members out much better.
