new guy here inherrated my brothers 2001 sebring lxi car looks great except jerks hard 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd asked whats wrong with it but he forgot what the mechanic told it feels like some mount is either loose or warned out any help would be appreciated,thanks !

 

Check the level of fluid in the transmission. Follow the instructions in the owners manual to do so. If it's low, or brown and burned, find out what the problem is and get it fixed properly by a transmission specialist. Ther's no way to diagnose transmission problems over the internet.
