Default Just brought a 2012 200 Hardtop convertible

Question: 1. Radio will not seek a station and the selections do not work?

2. Is it normal for the trunk lid to be heavy or are the shocks just bad?

There are a number of radio options for this car, what set up do you have?
As far as the trunk, yes it is rather heavy but the gas struts should hold it full up when opened.
I had a strut fail, lid would not stay up, after replacing both struts, still heavy to open but stays up.

Yes. Still not been able to get the 730n rhr radio to get any
AM stations nor select any stations in FM scan or seek. Also will only play very local stations and when driving they don't work very well.

Found problem. The radio antenna wire from the antenna to the main right wiring harness is broken. It is the one that runs from the trunk bottom to the antenna. It goes through all the hinges of the top and carries the top wiring that moves and does all its things. Can't fine the part so I had to make one. The cable is all in the trunk but the way it winds is about 15 feet through harness.

I have an 08 Sebring with the drop top hard top, and the trunk lid is quite heavy, there's a lot of monkey motion junk up there. But I do love the hard top, especially during the winter. And I also love the 3.5 V6 , you probably have the 3.6, I'd love to have that, but I couldn't find any 200 convertibles when I was replacing my 99 JX that got ran over.

Our cars use powered antennas. I would check the fuse and the power wire to the bottom of the antenna that sits on the trunk lid..
