Question need help on 04 2.4 4cyl

the number 4 cylinder is getting oil in it just wondering if theres a gasket that keep the oil from geting in there or what going on i could use the help the car hat almost 100k miles on it thanks

Could be the valve stem seal(s) or the piston rings. Valve stem seals are more likely. They can be replaced without removing the cylinder head, but special tools are required.

If it's a piston ring problem, that requires a major engine rebuild.

How did you determine that there's oil getting in there?

the check engine light came on so i replaced the spark plugs aboy6k ago and there was oil on the number 4 sparkplug and now when theres a load on the engine it misfires bad and i just took the spark plug out and cleaned it about 1k ago then again today and it still has oil on it and i dont have waranty so im going to tdo the work myself if i can figure it out i got to drive it back home and thats 800 miles from my perants house it did good untill i hit about 600 miles after i cleaned it then it miss foires really bad in gear

See if you can get hold of a shop manual, or, at the very least, a Haynes manual for the car. Study the book carefully and then decide if you have the necessary skills and tools to do the work.

there are oil plug seals on the valve cover along with the valve cover gasket replace that long with champion plugs and wires and U should be good to go.

If the oil is on the outside of the plug, then that should do the trick. If the oil is inside the cylinder, it's going to take more than replacing the valve cover gaskets and seals.
