Unhappy Oil Pressure and heater

Hi,

I combine to questions because I have been told by a friend that they are related:

The Engine Oil Pressure Light was Flickering two months ago, so I sent the car to dealership and they changed the sensor. But I had the same problems after that. So a friend of my advised me to use 10W30 oil which I did and solved the problem.( The light stopped flickering).

recently , the heater blowing out cold air when I stop at red ligh, but when I stepped on the accelerator to bring the RPM's from 600 to around 2000. The heater is blowing it's normal warm air. I checked the coolant and it was low. I add some antifreeze and fixed the problem.

One of my friends, told me that there is a big problem in my engine and it will probably stop working very soon because these issues are really bad. Any idea?

Thanks.

I was wondering having these two problems( low oil pressure and low coolant) means that my engin use oil and there is a leak of antifreeze to engine, so the engin will be dead soon. Is it true?

do me a favor and don't listen to the friend u have been talking to.
Take the car to a pro and have them look at it for a leak.

Had this same problem. The coolant was leaking into the motor and since I was unaware I drove it for another 25,000 miles and ruined my motor. I would definitely take it in and have it looked at. The cost to fix this now is way cheaper than replacing a 2.7 motor. I know this from experience. My 02 Sebring lxi lost the motor at 163,000, replaced new for about $6000 and have over fifty thousand on this motor.
