Default P0340 Code

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2004 Sebring LXi with the 2.7 and after driving it for the first day, it threw a code

The code is P0340 which I believe is Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Is this pretty much a change the sensor and that is it?

It has thrown the code twice today and pretty much ran the same way but with the check engine light on

Thanks for your help

Just to close on this.

I replaced the Camshaft Position Sensor and the problem went away

Thanks for your input
