Passenger window wont go up

Default Passenger window wont go up

96 Sebring Lxi passenger window will not go upwith either the driver or passenger side button. it doesnt make any noise whan i press the button. the fuse is still good under the hood. the driver window works properly. what could it be?

Sounds like you need a new window motor. Just a guess, but if neither controls do anything, that would be the thing to look at. Did the window go up slow or have any issues before it quit working?

I would have to say the motor is pooched as well. You can buy just the motor if I'm not mistaken. Also, used, not abused, could be an option.

You should check for voltage at the motor to verify the problem before replacing the motor. It could be a bad circuit breaker or relayor a broken wire rather than the motor. If you get voltage at the motor when pressing the switch, you should disconnect the glass from the regulator and move the glass by hand to be sure that it moves properly. If there's voltage and the glass moves easily by hand, then for sure it's the motor.
