My headlights are going to be a little different, but maybe that feature is still similar... is what I circled in my picture the same as what you circled in your picture?
If so, that shows that the thing the lever attaches to is present in both import and export models... the only difference being the actual lever, itself.
I don't know for certain, and I don't want to encourage you to waste your money... but if I was a betting man, I would bet that you can simply take your lever off your old lights, and put the lever on whatever new lights you order.

If I had to guess, the lever just lifts straight out...
Turning the lever adjusts the system, so making it required to turn the lever to remove the lever would risk adjusting the system in the process.
The lever probably has a pillar extrusion sticking down from the bottom of it that engages a shaped depression that it can only fit into one way.
Given the non-critical nature of the entire system, I doubt there is any sort of locking mechanism securing the lever into its location... the lever is probably free to lift straight out.
