Random clunk when put in park

Random clunk when put in park
'99 JXi con. 2.5L auto. When I put my transmission in park, i hear (and feel ) a clunk. It doesn't happen all the time. Maybe, once in ten. But when it does it feels like the tranny is going to drop out of the car. Any ideas ?
