Things to look for on 2007 Sebring
Hi
I've had a couple of Intrepids and I currently have a Chrysler Concorde and I'm looking at buying a 2007 Sebring that's for sale locally. It belonged to a guy in his 90's who is no longer driving and only has about 70,000 miles on the clock. Sounds a promising car.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers as to what I should look out for on early third generation Sebrings? Where are the trouble spots that I should be looking out for?
Thanks for any advice..

One thing too look out for is rusting frame/subframe. These older sebrings are notorious for this. they fixed them in the later models which is good because i have a 2010 model. Another thing is small stuff like maintenance (oil changes, ect) ask him when the last one was done. Lastly, transmission fluid + slips. These transmissions sometimes shift a little hard, but it’s perfectly fine. i thought this was a problem when i first bought my car new, but its just the transmission while shifting at high revs. Oh and also the third brake light. Every 2007-10 sebring i see driving always has their third brake light out. I had this problem as well and replaced it. just the small stuff. i cant say anything bad about the car, its a reliable car and have no major issues. great little car. One thing to keep in mind is that these cars dont have timing belts, they have timing chains. found this out a couple days ago, thougt it was a good heads up
