Default Tranny cover - to rtv or not to rtv ... Need help soonest

the car is apart.

http://www.makcotransmissionparts.co...g-pdf/A604.pdf

I invite your attention to part numbers 304 and 750 of the pdf link shown above.

Im giving the car to my son .. it was leaking from 750. Once I took the cover off, I found that it was replaced without a gasket. So I have a new cover and gasket.

Question is .. as stated in the subj line ... Should I use high temp rtv on it or not. Not sure if it will cure ..

This is like "Where's Waldo?" I give. Where's 750? Generally, you can use RTV or a gasket. Using both is a bit of overkill, but there's no real reason not to. I have used the orange (copper) version and have been happy with it. Others swear by the black RTV. Give it plenty of time to cure before running the car.
Most important is the proper tightening of the cover bolts. Tighten them in three steps, in sequence and don't overtighten. Overtightening can warp the cover and squeeze out the sealant and/or deform the gasket.

just go to oreillys or what ever and get a rubber gasket, remove the old gasket from the the tranny and pan and clean with brake cleaner or whatever, I used a air tool with a wire brush to remove the old gasket, then install the new rubber gasket dry.
