Bought a new 2006 Sebring convertible for my daughter. Had uconnect installed by the dealer. at 1st uconnect muted the radio, now it doesn't. Been to dealer five times on the issue. Now being told by dealer, 06 convertible was never suppose to have the uconnect installed. Now they can't get it to mute the radio and deny it ever has. Should I go to another dealer or are they correct and I'm crazy, because the saleman demonstarted when he delivered the car and the mute worked for at least a month after the sale.

 

I would definately try a different Stealership. If it worked in the beginning, then it should work now... besides, who would designa phone that didn't disconnect the radio???

 

I suggest that you do some research through the uconnect's documentation to see if that functionality is listed for your vehicle etc. If so, and the dealer installed it, then I think you have enough to go up the ladder at the dealership. Insistent patience works best.
