I just bought a 1999 Sebring lxi.. I noticed that there was no washer fluid under the hood so today I filled it up.. but it won't pump.. I can hear the pump running but no spray... Has anyone ever had this problem, and if so how did u fix it????

 

If the pump runs, there must be either a blockage or leak somewhere. Start at the pump and check the entire length of the hoses to see where the flow is stopped or diverted. This isn't rocket science, it just takes persistence. You can do it unless you'd prefer to pay a pro $90 an hour to do the same things.

 

Dats just what I thought... I think something must of plugged up the line... And no I'm nt gonna pay anyone to fix it for me... I'm a diy kind of guy... Thanks for confirming what I was thinking.. wish me luck..

 

So I finally got a chance yesterday to trouble shoot my windshield washer fluid... Finally got it to spray again... But now it only sprays out of the driver side nozzle... Only out of the hole to the left.. and it doesn't even hit my windshield.. instead it just shoots over the car... Would replacing the nozzles fix my issues??? What do u guys think???

 

Probably. Unless there's a blockage in the tubing going to the right nozzle.
The parts won't set you back much so it's worth a try. Come back again and let everybody know how it went.

The alternative is to stick a pin or needle in the nozzle and see if you can clear it out. Even if you wreck the nozzle that way, you're no worse off.

 

You know I was thinking about doing just that.. using a pin tr try and clear it... I found what appeared to be caked up washer fluid in the t where the 3 lines connect... There was also a a lil round peace of metal in the bottom side of the t where the line connects to the pump... Is it suppost to be like that??? .. As for the nozzle replacement kit... Auto zone has them for about 17 bucks... Wish me luck... And yes I will post my end results mos def... Thanks again

 

Not sure what you mean by the little round piece of metal, but if it looks like it doesn't belong there, it probably doesn't. Like I said before, this ain't rocket science. It's a very simple and straightforward system there.

 

Well I'm back to let u guys know what I did and hoe it all went. Today I went to auto zone and got a new pair of nozzles and a vacuum t and now it works perfectly now... Thank u for all Ur help on this fix*
