2005 300 2.7 rear differential problems

Default 2005 300 2.7 rear differential problems

Currently my car feels like it's holding back while driving. When going in reverse the rear wheels feel like the wanna fall of due to binding some where. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP BEFORE I LIGHT MY CAR ON FIRE!!!

I not sure you can zero in on the differential just yet. For instance, if you have an automatic transmission it could just as well be that. You/we need more info. Is it pulling, making noise, over heating any components, etc.

What have you done so far? Have you checked the diff. lube, Trans. fluid, etc?

In short we need more info.

I put it up on a life. Check fluid in diff clean enough full. Did notice that the support bearing that hold the drive shaft has some play. The car feels like if the ebrake is on but already check them. Can the driveshaft having that little of play can it cause the differential to bind the rear wheels? Please help am so lost with it and really need to get this vehicle back on the road.

i would have a professional take a look at it if you need to get it rolling quickly on something like this can be guessing for weeks and spend on lots of stuff you dont need.
