Default 2006 Chrysler 300c clunking in front end

Hi I have a 06 Chrysler 300c that makes a cluking noise going down bumpy roads. I took it to the dealer.
They couldn't find the clunk. I took it to a mechanic he replace the struts and said everything else in the
front end was tight. It still makes the clunking noise. I could use any help please.

Check your Lower ball joints and tension struts. I have changed mine 3 times in 260,000 miles. Both fairly easy to change.

It's a common issue and generally an easy fix. Replace the front sway bar bushings. It costs about $10 and takes about 15 minutes. If that alone doesn't solve it, replace the sway bar end links. I would visit moog.com to ensure you get the correct bushings regardless of where you purchase them. The sway bars can be 1", 27mm, 30mm and 32mm so make sure you get the correct bushings. I had the same issue and noticed it mostly on my 1/2 mile long gravel driveway. The shops all said everything was tight.

They replaced the sway bars and bushings along with new struts, lower and upper ball joints. Most of the time I hear the clunking because I live where there are a lot of dirt roads. On city streets it's not bad unless you run across a pot hole. Thank you for your reply. I'll run what you said by my mechanic

Make sure the sway bar end links are torqued tight as well. It may be that simple. Have someone rock the car side to side while you put your hand on the sway bar. If you feel the clunk, there's the problem.
