Default 2008 300C Hemi Throttle

Rare problem that stores no codes. Car is the Heritage Edition RWD and has 155K on it and is well cared for. Once in awhile when first accelerating, I press down on accelerator and get absolutely nothing! Dead pedal. Complete disconnect between pedal and brain of car (or maybe just the throttle control). Anyway, panic and heartrate go up, then put car in neutral and rev engine to be sure it is running, then back to drive and I get to go. Happens rarely, but when it happens...oh boy. My understanding is that any TPS is located as part of the throttle control OEM part number A2C53099252 0459 1847 AC as opposed to being on driver side of tranny.

I know there are solenoids and speed sensor N the tranny but feel if they were acting up then I would notice poor tranny performance and I just dont have that. Could it be that at 155K miles the electric guts in the throttle control just are misbehaving?

ALL is dry on and around pan of tranny so dont think NAG plug adaptor is a culprit. Want to believe that it is signal problem.

Thanks in advance for anyone ever seeing this.
