Default 2008 300C - Hood gas shock support

This is an odd question. I just purchased a 2008 Chrysler 300C RWD. I was just wondering how many gas support shocks does the hood have. My hood only has one support on the passenger side.
If I install a second do I risk "bending" my hood when I attempt to close it?
Thanking you ahead of time.

My 2012 has 2 air shocks. If your car came with 2 air shocks and it does not work well with just 1 then do add another. If the operation is adequate (you didn't say 1 way or another) then it may be best not to worry about it.

If you must add another air shock and mounting holes/brackets are present then I presume the parts will be identical right to left.
