Default 2010 300 Dash Power/Cigarette Outlet

I am told the dash power outlet can easily converted to be "hot" all the time - not just when the car is running.

Anybody able to tell me how to do this?

Thanks!

Look in your owners manual. It involves moving the Cigar lighter fuse to a different position.
When You locate the fuse there will be three holes....1+2 is battery, 2+3 is ignition.

I may have them reversed, but you get the picture...

Is this only for the 2010 models, or all 300 models?

Actually everything going way back. The first time I saw this was A 96 Caravan. The locations and fuse Numbers will be different , of course, but it will work on just about everything.
