Is it possible to disable the manual shift function on a 2012 300s? This car will be driven at times by my wife and I am sure it will get into the manual mode at some time. She will let me know when she gets home that the "engine was making a lot of noise and did no go to fast". So disable is the way to go for me.

Also can one disable the auto start function? I have had the car start when it was not done on purpose. Sort of like "butt dialing your cell phone when it is in your pocket".

no this is one of the situations where u fix the customer not the car.

 

Take a drive with her and teach her how to use it and how not to use it, and how to tell when it is engaged so she can easily turn it off. I almost bought the S but I got more options in my limited, the way it was ordered with the luxury option, 20 inch wheels with performance tires, I did not like the white stitching on the whole seat instead of like my sons 200S just around the outside where the sides join, not over done like the 300 seats. The beats audio is just that it is beat meaning junk for the money. Really for 200 bucks you can get an infinity 200w powered dual 10 inch sub which I am told bumps better. Still don't like Dr. Dre him and Metallica were the first few that started whining about Napster back in the Napster good old days.So glad I burn all the music I got from back then, maybe should redo them, getting old.
